Whole of October - Physoc Design a Hoodie Competition
Know a great physics joke? Got some artistic skill you want to exercise? Then enter our Competition to design the Physoc hoodie and see your design in print, picking up a free hoodie for yourself in the process. Enter you design via email to society@luuphysoc.co.uk or hand it to one of the committee! Deadline: Friday 31st October
Tuesday 21st October 2008 - Social and Club Night
We'll be having a social on Tuesday 21st, starting in Old Bar and then off to a Glam Racket @ the Union - keep checking back for details, any ideas let Charlie know at events@luuphysoc.co.uk

Football Practice, Hyde Park 2pm near the goalposts. Note the new time! The staff-student match should be in November, so get to the practices in preparation!!!!

25/11/2007- Sports, Christmas Quiz
Hi,
For all you budding rugby players out there, the undergraduates have been challenged to a staff student rugby match. So, if anyone is interested in playing could you reply to this e-mail. Also on the sporting front the annual staff student football game is on the horizon and we are on the look out for players. There will be a couple of training sessions before the big match. We'll let you know when it is so you can go along and support your team! Get in contact with Andy (sports@luuphysoc.co.uk) if you're interested in playing.
Talking of big events its that time of year again! Time to get drunk and hug your lecturers! Time to gorge yourself on free food! Time to become insanely competitive. It's the Annual Physoc Christmas Quiz!!! As per usual, there will be free food, free drinks and an expertly written quiz, all presented by our special guest, Professor Vlatko Vedral!! This year it's on Thursday 29th November. Doors will open from 5.30pm, food and drink available from approximately 5.45pm, quiz starts at 6.00pm. Tickets are £5 and will be available in the coffee bar on:-
Monday: 12-2, Fliss & Lara
Tuesday: 11-1, Fliss
Wednesday: 1-3, Libby
We'll be doing last minute tickets on Thursday, if there's any left. Ideally 6 people per team.
