With your new Physoc Membership Card, at the very reasonable price of £5, you get discounted access to all Physoc events, updates on what socials, daytrips and colloquia are happening in the coming weeks, and a host of benefits and discounts at the best clubs and bars in Leeds including:

• FREE ENTRY to Baja on Wednesday nights
• FREE ENTRY to Puro on Monday and Wednesday nights before 10.30pm
• HALF PRICE ENTRY to Rios on Thursday and Saturday nights
• 2-4-1 ENTRY to Jongleurs Comedy Club on Thursday nights

• PRIVILEDGE CARD OFFERS at Revolution, Call Lane
And many more coming soon, see website for details and updates.

Fresher’s week will start with an introduction and sign up meeting at 3.30pm on Monday in the Coffee Bar, where you can pick up your brand new Physoc membership card, entitling you to all these great benefits.

Immediately following this will be the sports sign up. Our new Sports officer, Phil Symonds, is dedicated to getting together a top-notch football team to take on the staff and other university departments, and this year we will also be starting rugby team, so come along and join in! If your favourite sport isn’t represented, we welcome suggestions and will do all we can to set up a new sport team. For those who like football, there will be a kick about in the park after the sports sign up.

On Tuesday evening at 7pm in The Packhorse there will be the first Physoc event of the year, The Physoc Welcome Party. With free food, a DJ and party games it is free to members (with membership card for 08/09) and only £2 for non-members. We intend to make the night big and messy, heading into town to do some serious clubbing afterwards.

On Friday of Fresher’s week is our first Otley Run! The theme being GEEKS come along and join us, starting at Woodies Pub at 5.30pm.

Remember also that your Physoc committee can always be found enjoying “Fenton Thursdays”, starting 2nd of October. With cheap drinks and a relaxed atmosphere you will find us there, most likely discussing the ongoing saga of the Physoc Hoodie, every Thursday evening.

Any questions/suggestions/ideas, email us at society@luuphysoc.co.uk,
Lara, Fliss, Claire and the rest of the Physoc Committee

about the site

The site is split into sections, all laid out on the left. Once you're in a section the contents of that section will be displayed on the right. The main sections on the left are split into two groups - the first group offers everything you need to know about how Physoc is run, while events and other goings on are in the second group.
